Snow..Snow..and even more SNOW!!

WE LOVE SNOW!!

We have had so much fun this winter! Living in Texas my whole life I have never seen this much snow!!

We have jumped in the snow....

built snowmen without pants in the snow....

hid our little Yorkie in the snow....

played in the snow at school...
before getting in trouble by the principal for playing in the snow at school.....




We have measured the snow.......



















gone tubing in the snow....






















made snow angels in the snow...........



















Even ate the snow in the form of "snow ice cream" and being from Texas I did have to google! ....

















But now that I am about 12lbs heavier from all the eating I've done because of the snow....I'm ready to bid farewell to Frosty and say hello to some good ole' Texas Heat!!

Bring on the flip-flops!

(just maybe not the swimsuits yet)!

In Love with Another....

Meet Mr. Einstein! Glen's new little friend!

Einstein is Hallie's 3rd grade class pet.

He needed a place to stay for a while and we are happy to open up our home to this feathery little fella for as long as he needs a place to cozy up to at night. That cozy place is mostly right on Glen's face! Mr. Einstein goes crazy in his cage when he sees Glen come home and can't wait to be let out so he can snuggle up to his friend!

Personally, I think it's kinda cute that he's in love with another.....

as long as "the other" has feathers!

It took a month but....

but here is one of the little petits fours that the girls and I made for Valentines! Turned out pretty cute and so did the photgraph that Riley took of it, (liking the button backdrop Ms. Riley...creative)! ;)

I've been on a month "blog hiatus", now its time for some catching up...it has really been a busy & super fun month! We've had snowfall here like we've never seen before! Tomorrow I'll talk about "someone being in love with another"!! We've had a houseguest this month and Glen has totally fallen head over heels.......Stay tuned!

I just bet they don't turn out as cute and neither will my pics I try to post of them...MckMama is the most awesome photographer I have ever come across! She makes me want to be crafty in the kitchen and go to photography school! Dang!!

Blessed Birthday!

Sunday was a birthday to remember!

Hallie turned 9 years old and followed Christ in believer's baptism! We are so proud of her and the little lady that she is becoming! I am so excited to be blessed with such a unique little 9 year old daughter, AND have her as my awesome Sister in Christ as well!

NINE YEARS!!

Nine years ago today, I met my match!

God blessed us with a 7lb. 4oz. bundle of energy like we had never seen before! From her 1st kick in my tummy, the Dr. said, "Wow! We got a wild one in here!" and he was right!

Hallie May, you have brought such joy, happiness, and love to our family and I thank you.

Happy 9th Birthday, my wild girl! We are so proud of you!

If the next 13 years are as easy as the 1st 13.........we've got it made!
