Royal Watcher!

I admit it.

I'm so excited about the Royal Wedding!

I remember when I was 10 years old, my sister was 14 and we all woke up at 3 am and watched the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana back in 1981.

Here we are 30 years later and tomorrow at 3am, I will attempt to get my 10 year old and 14 year old girls up to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate.

(let's be honest, I know I'll probably just DVR it!)

BUT! First, I must call the State of Texas Education Department and ask,

"WHO IN THE WORLD scheduled the 8th grade TAKS test on the same day as the ROYAL WEDDING!!!??"

For Pete's Sake!!

Don't they know that we've got some TV to watch tomorrow!!

But seriously, amidst all of the sad, horrific, unhappy news that is continually streaming into our living rooms through the TV, I am genuinely excited about the events of tomorrow!

Honestly, I think we could all use a day filled with fairy tale weddings, a handsome Prince and a beautiful Princess, gorgeous gowns, and fluffy~frilly hats of all colors & sizes.

(Personally, I will be watching just to see what that step-monster Camilla will be wearing!) So as I countdown for the big event I will continue to polish my tiara.......

and plan the Royal "TAKS" Breakfast that will be served in the morning!

MO Monday!

MO has a new friend, his name is JO.
JO is a faithful friend.
JO shows up every night, BUT only at night.JO only stands at the window when MO stands at the window.
JO only makes the moves that MO makes.

JO only barks when MO barks, and they bark WILDLY at each other.

JO looks just like MO and even wears the same collar.

MO and JO will stand and stare at each other for hours, or at least until the lights go out and JO goes home.

Personally, I think that MO is more interested in JO, than JO is interested in MO though!

If this dog eats one more sock, and then throws it up, I'm gonna scream.

Marci, who is in surgery right now getting her appendix out.

So glad my 4 day work week went well and I am off tomorrow.

Do I have anything green to wear tomorrow?

Will I get up at 5 or 5:30 tomorrow morning?

Can't wait to take MO to the vet and Abby to the groomer and CLEAN THIS HOUSE tomorrow dog and kid free!

Tomorrow is GOOD FRIDAY!

Tomorrow is EARTH DAY!

Tomorrow is WALK TO SCHOOL DAY! (we walk to school EVERY DAY!?)

What will we all wear on Easter?

Will I get my Easter cards in the mail on time?

These are just a few things on my mind this second.

Our attempt at orphan bird rescue....did not go well.Poor Benny didn't make it.

That made us all sad.

MO Monday

Mo is TWENTY WEEKS OLD!

50 lbs.

Stands taller than the kitchen counter.

AND.......

Loves to eat peanut butter & jelly sandwiches while I make the girls' lunches.

BUT......

We just might have found a little critter that likes to eat MORE than MO!
